FHU ARC meeting, Feb. 19, 2009, basement of Gardner Center. 

Those in attendance included Barry Smith, John W., Mike Burkhead, Louise Burkhead, Martha England, Richard England, Gary Roeder, Tom Childers, Kevin Roeder, Joe Newton, Thad Williams, Joe Loucka, and James A. Webb, plus three guests. 

Barry Smith, treasurer, called the meeting to order, and turned it over to Joe Loucka

Gary Roeder made motion for Joe Loucka as vice president, seconded by Louise Burkhead.

All in attendance for the motion, no nays. 

A discussion was held about future meeting sites. Kevin Roeder said he would check with city fire department as possible location. 

Talked about meeting topics and suggestions, and service work for older local hams. 

Discussion about future ham fest, different locations, possibly move date during BBQ festival, Oct. 3, and maybe activity center at Henderson Church of Christ. 

Discussed possibly moving meeting site to Henderson Church of Christ. Next meeting March 19. Barry Smith would check into this. 

IT was decided to have refreshments at each meeting with a signup sheet for those supplying the refreshments. Richard England will provide them for next meeting. 

Talk of updating the website and the membership list.  

It was discussed changing the club name to FHU-Chester County ARC, no motion made.
