[W4FHU] Christmas Party

Hello Hams:

 

Sorry it's has been so long since my last update, but it's a busy time
of year trying end the semester...

 

Several have said they do not want to do Arnold's this year.  A couple
have suggested that the club hold the party at our place, The Village
Eatery, downtown.  Beverly and I have looked at this possibility and
have decided that this is absolutely doable for us.  So...

 

The best date for us to close the restaurant for the Ham Club's private
party would be next Tuesday, Dec 16th.  We have a conflict on Thursday
the 18th.  If this works for most of the club families we will proceed
as follows...

 

We will close the restaurant for the club party to begin at 6:30pm.  We
will have a special plated dinner of chicken and dressing and all the
trimmings.  We will also have our Gourmet Sandwich and Chicken Salad
Plate menus available for those who don't want the chicken and dressing
plate.  

 

We also thought, since we have a large counter to spread food out on,
that it would be a good idea, for those who would like, to bring a small
amount of holiday treats for everyone to share throughout the evening.
(This is only a suggestion, not required).  

 

Please give me feedback on this and also let me know if you will be
attending and how many will be in your family.
