[W4FHU] Next Club Meeting around the corner

This is just a reminder that the next club meeting is next week Thursday
(Feb 19th).  I'm not sure what room the meeting will be in, But Ron can fill
in the information later.
 
The real reason I'm sending this mail is my concern for the clubs future.
At one time not that long ago, the club was thriving. People were excited
and things were happing all over the place. But as time went on, the club
has lost it's appeal and is more or less in my opinion 'dead'.   I'm not
pointing fingers in any direction. But I think we either need to disband the
club or make it work better.  I know last election we had a hard time
getting people to take any of the officers positions  I took the opportunity
to step down as club president.  
 
I don't want to see the club die as electronics is a part of me and the club
is a great place to share with my friends.   Sure, I'm not interested in the
same aspects of Ham Radio as everyone else. But the hobby is so vast and
covers so much that there is something for most every one.   At the moment
there is a vacancy for the position of Vice President.  The Vice President's
main responsibility is lining up the presentations for the meetings.  As you
know I have some experience in doing that and if you will allow, I will take
that position.  Of course I will need not only your votes, but your help in
an on-going basis.
 
Please, let's all show up at the next meeting.  I don't know what agenda is
planned for the official meeting but I suggest we get this club reignited
again!
