[W4FHU] February Meeting

Hello Hams:

 

Our next club meeting is next Thursday, February 19th.  We have a new
meeting location...same building, different floor:  WE ARE NOW MEETING
IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM ON THE GROUND FLOOR/BASEMENT OF THE GARDNER
CENTER.  This will allow us to sit around tables and work on projects,
as well as, visit with each other in a round table setting.  

 

In response to Joel's e-mail earlier today, I have spoken with him and
he has agreed to take on the role and responsibilities of vice president
of the club.  According to the club's Constitution and Bylaws, it is the
duty of the vice president to 1.) Arrange for the programs at each
meeting.  2.) Assume the responsibilities of the president at the
meetings in his/her absence.  3.) Assume the office and duties of the
president should the office become vacant.  

 

Joel will be leading the meeting next week as I will be out of town on
business. (A formal vote should take place at the beginning of the
meeting for the minutes and to make this official.)  Please brain storm
with him and come to the meeting prepared to give some ideas on club
projects and other areas/opportunities for member involvement.  The club
MUST have more involvement/ideas/volunteerism from our members if we are
going to survive!
