Hello to All!
   Our next meeting night I think will be interesting for all!  We will be discussing LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes).  I will be presenting a very basic introduction on LEDs.  This will comprise of a small project and one other larger project that I have been working on.  The core of the presentation will be on basic LED theory.  We will then put this into practice by building a circuit and watching it work.  We will also be lightly scratching the surface on light refraction and be able to see how this plays a large roll in producing the light emission or your LEDs that you may need for certain applications.  At the end, I will be displaying a neat little ( not really little...many hours involved in this little project already) LED project putting into practice all we will be learning.  Neat thing about LEDs is that you can get about as technical as you want or keep it fairly simple.  Possibilities are nearly endless...!  Did I mention that this is really CHEAP too!
